I can’t believe it’s been almost 6 years since I graduated from the Art Institute of Vancouver with a degree in Graphic Design. Throughout the years I’ve always gone back and fourth questioning if I was in the right field of work, if what I was doing was what I was meant to be doing in life or if it would be a career I could successfully support myself (and my future family) with. These doubts along with my classic case of middle child syndrome sandwiched between 2 psych nursing siblings, I think it’s safe to say that my 25 year old self has finally put the what-ifs and doubts behind me. I’ve got my mind set on making 2014 the year I put my-designer-self out there whole-heartedly with more confidence and faith in what I do.. so far, so good. Meeting & connecting with inspiring new clients and biting off more than I can chew has been fuelling and building my dream of one day being my own boss. I’ve got a messy notebook full of ideas, new goals and big plans for summer (if not sooner!).
Good morning, you got me feelin’ brand new.

“Plan with me. Stand with me. Cry with me. Laugh with me. Will you be my maid of honour? Love Always, Jennie”
My lovely sister is engaged and guess who’s the maid of honour? Yepp you guessed it.. and yepp, I made my own card! I designed custom “Will you be my bridesmaid?” cards for her girls and I most certainly refused to be left out. She wrote personal messages for each of us, so there was some sort of surprise in store for me when I received the card.
May 23rd, 2015 we’re coming for you! Let the wedding planning begin!
