I love a bride who knows precisely what she wants.. and has the exact same taste as me! Pink and the beautiful peony, two of my ultimate wedding favourites.. this made designing the invitation quite enjoyable! But with every project comes a challenge; for this design, it was translating the invitation from English to Chinese. Thank God for the 6 months I spent in China last year…. bahaha NOT! After a few online tutorials, browsing through forums and multiple Chinese font downloads.. my progress was minimal and my sad attempt was abysmal. But with the help of a friend of the bride, we were able to successfully create the Chinese version and now I can check that off my design accomplishments! (I was going to say check that off my bucket list but who would put “design Chinese wedding invitation” on a bucket list.. okay, maybe I would.. hehe)
